At Lakewood Organic, the safety and well-being of our staff and consumers remain our top priorities.  With the recently elevated discussion regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to take a moment and assure you that we are diligently monitoring this evolving situation and reinforcing our current health and safety procedures.


Our hearts go out to all of those who are being affected by the COVID-19 Coronavirus.  To ensure we have the latest updates and information, we are closely monitoring the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as local public health offices.  Additionally, we are assessing any necessary contingency plans should status warrant the need in the future.


As the largest organic NFC family-owned shelf stable juice company, Lakewood understands how critical it is for our customers and business associates to receive our high-quality shelf-stable products. We take our role very seriously to ensure business continuity while maintaining the safety of our employees. As such, we are proud to report our company has been able to mitigate supply chain risks during this unprecedented time by increasing safety stocks.  As a result, we have been able to keep up with the increased volume of orders.


We are pleased to confirm we do not foresee any significant disruption at this time, but we are continually monitoring this ever-evolving situation.  We are also increasing safety measures such as social distancing, improving telecommuting policies, limiting visitors, and increasing already strict hygiene policies.  Many in this country are concerned about their paychecks.  In response, Lakewood is offering all employees emergency paid sick time to avoid sick employees from coming to work.
