Job Description:
Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on all equipment in the plant and assist in the repairs and preventive maintenance of the physical plant.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains and services mechanical equipment, machinery, and components.
- Performs skills repair services of mechanical, electrical and building systems and equipment.

- Completes all work in accordance with established safety
- May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of
- Monitor all nearby equipment while they’re working and stop the line immediately if there is a snag or another problem that could compromise product quality or worker
- Maintain an open line of communication with other line workers and supervisors to alert them to potential hazards and assembling issues.
- Keep their immediate work area clean and organized throughout every work
- Adhere to safety standards at all This includes wearing protective gear, such as work boots and safety glasses.
- Weekly work from Monday to Friday in variable hours according to production needs; with the exceptional possibility of working on a Saturday or non-production day for mechanical tasks that require the shutdown of the
- Maintenance and repair of the machines corresponding to the entire process of manufacturing, pasteurization, filling and packaging.
- Maintenance of supply equipment (steam, compressed air, filtered water, chiller, underground pumps, )
- Collaboration in the development of new projects to improve the process and plant
- Collaboration in the stock control of necessary parts and supplies (chemicals, lubricants, oils, )

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or, equivalent combination of education of experience.
- Typically reports to supervisor or manager.
- Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.
- Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.
- Requires 5 years of related experience.
- Experience within the food and beverage industry (preferred).
- Experienced at analyzing process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot.
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend required for virtually the entire shift. Occasionally required to climb or balance. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 pounds.
- Must be able to work in a wet environment. Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals. Exposure to nut allergens.
- Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to pass all medical exams, drug check.
