Lakewood Organic Pure Aloe Gel Juice is organic aloe vera juice with a thicker, gel-like body. Each 32oz glass bottle is made with 3 lbs. of organic aloe, with a small amount of organic lemon juice and natural thickeners. It's mild and clean tasting, certified organic, with no preservatives.

What is in it?

Organic aloe vera juice, plus less than 1% total of organic lemon juice, xanthan gum, and organic guar gum. There are no preservatives, no artificial flavors, and no colors.

What's the difference between Aloe Gel and Aloe Inner Fillet?

Texture, mainly. Both are made from organic aloe vera. This Aloe Gel includes small amounts of xanthan gum and organic guar gum, which give it a thicker, more gel-like consistency closer to the aloe gel people picture from the plant itself. Lakewood Organic Pure Aloe Inner Fillet Juice has no added thickeners, so it pours thinner and lighter. If you want the fuller, gel-like texture, choose this one. If you want the simplest possible ingredient list, choose the Inner Fillet.

Why does it contain xanthan gum and guar gum?

They're natural thickeners, used here in a very small amount, under 1% combined. Aloe juice separates readily on its own, so the gums help hold the body and consistency of the gel rather than letting it thin out in the bottle. Guar gum comes from guar beans and xanthan gum is produced by fermentation.

What does aloe gel juice taste like?

Mild, clean, and neutral, with a faint vegetal note and a hint of brightness from the lemon. It isn't sweet or bitter. The main difference from thinner aloe juice is how it feels rather than how it tastes, with a smoother, slightly fuller mouthfeel.

How much should you drink?
