Why is there lemon in Pure Beet Juice?

The organic lemon is a small part of the blend. It brightens the beet's deep earthiness and keeps the flavor from sitting flat. Beetroot is the dominant ingredient by a wide margin, which is why it's called Pure Beet.

What does pure beet juice taste like?

Deeply earthy and naturally sweet, with the mineral, almost soil-like character that beets are known for, lifted by a clean citrus edge from the lemon. It's rich and full-bodied rather than light. If you've only had beets roasted or pickled, the juice is more concentrated and more intensely earthy than either.

Is there added sugar in it?

No. There is no added sugar. All of the sweetness comes from the beets themselves. Beets are naturally one of the sweeter vegetables, which is why the juice tastes sweet without anything added.

Beet Ginger Turmeric adds organic ginger and turmeric for a spiced, warming version. If you want beet on its own, choose Pure Beet. If you want beet with heat and spice, choose Beet Ginger Turmeric.
